Trained and worked as a graphic designer. Later studied embroidery and holds City and Guild certificates in this subject. Teaches and lectures in both the UK and America.

My work is currently based on places I have visited, capturing impressions of colour, pattern and atmosphere. The embroideries are hand-stitched and I use a variety of media to create the finished effect.

I exhibit embroidery and painting with the groups that I belong to and also individually.
